In any form of marketing strategy, brand recognition is usually the initial focus.
The impact of brand recognition extends beyond purely marketing but also appeals to the emotion of the consumers. In order to produce a strong brand that has established itself on the industry, you must be able to purge favorable emotions from your customers.
Studies have shown that most web surfers begin with a search. Therefore, it is best to optimize your web site in such a way that it ranks well in the search engines. In short, you have to make efforts to make your website easily found by potential web researchers.
Creating a distinction for your name in a given field of business will encourage more people to do business with you. You also need to consider the psychological aspect of it. Studies have revealed that people tend to go for a name that they know or recognize. So, this is a helpful stat that you need to take advantage of.
As you look over all my websites, you will notice I always show an image of myself. This is to instill my image as many times as possible, so when people start seeing my face over and over again, they will recognize me and say, “Hey, I know her, let’s go check out what she’s up to today!” (i.e. Hot Viral Traffic)
As an author of five books on Amazon, branding my face with association to my name is bit of a problem. On Amazon you would go to there address bar used for searching and you would have to type in my name: Carol Mehlman to find all my books in one location! (Amazon.com)
So in the case above I was not able to put the face to the name but that is something you’ll come up against from time to time. Point being, just get your face out there as much as you can and as often as you can.
I do this with all my salespages, thank you pages and ebooks I’ve created!
Hence forth, brand recognition!
